Learning Outside of the Classroom

We have been on many outings these last few weeks.

It was a beautiful day outside when we went on our

"Walk at PDS".

 First, we handed out green and gold balloons.

 Then we lined up two by two.

Now we can walk!

 Mrs. Burd led the parade followed by some DSU athletes.

The Cleveland Fire Dept. also came out and drove their fire truck in our parade.

 At the end of our walk, we released our balloons.

UP, UP, and AWAY!

 We can travel quicker this way.

We are going to the BPAC to hear Todd Green.

He is a very talented musician.

 He brought instruments from all around the world.

 Sorry the pictures didn't turn out very well.

 The kids loved it. They talked about the show for the rest of the day.

 Another exciting thing that happened was that the Angry Bird came back to our room for a visit.

First with Walker....

 .....and then with Jake.....

....and finally with Lane. 

That Angry Bird must really love 5k.

I know we do!!!
